Privacy Policy

How Orelon collects, uses, and protects your information.

Last updated: 2026-08-16

Introduction

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how Orelon ("we", "us") collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use our AI video and image creation platform.

Last Updated: August 16, 2026

The Quick Version

Here's what you actually care about:

  • We collect what we need — sign-in info, the prompts and media you generate with, and your credit balance.
  • Your generations run on third-party AI models — to create a video or image, your prompt and any reference media are sent to the model provider you selected (Seedance, Kling, GPT Image, and others). That's how the product works.
  • Your history belongs to you — generations stay in your account until you delete them. You can remove any task from your history at any time.
  • We don't sell your data — ever.

What We Actually Collect

Stuff You Give Us

When you create an account:

  • Your email address (for sign-in, receipts, and account notices)
  • Your name (optional — just for greeting you)
  • A password if you sign in with email. If you sign in with Google, we never see your password; Google handles that.

When you generate videos or images:

  • The prompt you type
  • Reference images or videos you upload (for image-to-video, editing, and similar features)
  • The model and parameters you choose

When you buy credits:

  • Payment info is handled by the payment processor (such as Stripe, PayPal, Alipay, or WeChat Pay — depending on the option you choose). We never see or store your full card number.

When you contact support:

  • Your name, email, and what you asked, so we can help.

Stuff We Track Automatically

  • Which pages and features you use (so we know what to improve)
  • Browser and device type (for compatibility)
  • Approximate location at country/city level (for performance and abuse prevention)
  • Error and crash reports

What We Do With This Info

To make the product work:

  • Run your generation requests through the selected AI model provider
  • Track your credit balance and deduct credits for generations
  • Keep your generation history in your account
  • Let you share or download what you created

To keep you signed in:

  • Remember who you are between visits
  • Save your preferences (language, theme)

To handle payments:

  • Process credit purchases through payment processors
  • Email you receipts
  • Prevent fraud

To make Orelon better:

  • Understand which features and models people use
  • Fix bugs and prioritize what to build next

To help when you need it:

  • Answer support tickets and emails

Generation Data and Third-Party AI Providers

Orelon is a multi-model platform: your generations are executed by third-party AI providers (video models such as Seedance, Kling, Wan, MiniMax, and image models such as GPT Image, Nano Banana, Seedream, Qwen, and Flux).

What this means:

  • Your prompt, reference media, and selected settings are transmitted to the provider that runs your generation.
  • Each provider processes your request under their own privacy policy and data-retention terms.
  • Generated results are delivered back to us and stored in your account history.

If you have questions about a specific provider's data handling, their policies are publicly available, and we'll point you to the right one on request.

How Long We Keep Your Stuff

| What | How Long | Why | | ------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------ | | Your account info | Until you delete your account | Can't run an account without it | | Generation history (prompts, results, references) | Until you delete the task or your account | So you can re-download, remix, and continue work | | Credit purchase records | As long as tax and accounting law requires | Legal obligation | | Support conversations | Up to 1 year | In case you follow up later | | Analytics data | Up to 26 months | Industry default |

Want something deleted? Remove it from your history yourself, or email us and we'll do it for you.

What We DON'T Do

Just to be clear:

  • ❌ Don't sell your personal data
  • ❌ Don't spam you with marketing emails
  • ❌ Don't publish your private generations publicly (showcase content is curated, not scraped from private accounts)
  • ❌ Don't train our own models on your images
  • ❌ Don't follow you around the internet with tracking cookies

How We Keep Your Data Safe

  • HTTPS everywhere — all traffic encrypted in transit
  • OAuth for Google sign-in — your Google password stays with Google
  • Established payment processors — PCI-compliant payment handling
  • Access controls — only the people who need access to production data have it
  • Encrypted backups — regular backups in case something breaks

No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.

Third-Party Services

Services we rely on and why:

  • AI model providers (Seedance, Kling, Wan, MiniMax, PixVerse, GPT Image, Nano Banana, Seedream, Qwen, Flux, and others) — to execute your generations
  • Payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, Alipay, WeChat Pay, and similar) — to handle credit purchases
  • Cloud storage — to store your generated media and uploads
  • Google — sign-in (if you choose Google) and analytics
  • Email delivery services — receipts and account notices

Each of these services processes data under their own privacy policy.

Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies to keep the site working:

  • Keep you signed in
  • Track your credit balance
  • Remember your settings (theme, language)

You can block non-essential cookies in your browser and the core product keeps working.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live (GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws), you have rights over your data:

  • Access — ask us what data we hold about you; we'll send it over
  • Correction — fix wrong info
  • Deletion — delete your account and data (right to be forgotten)
  • Portability — get your data in a machine-readable format
  • Objection / opt-out — tell us to stop a specific processing, or opt out of non-essential cookies in your browser

To exercise any of these, email support@orelon.ai (or open a ticket in Settings → Support Tickets) from the address you signed up with. We'll respond within 30 days.

Kids

Orelon isn't for anyone under 13 (or under the digital-consent age in your country). We don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe we accidentally did, contact us and we'll delete it.

If You're Outside Our Home Region

Orelon runs on global cloud infrastructure. Your data may be processed in the country where the closest server is, and generation requests are processed wherever the selected AI provider operates. Using Orelon from another country means you accept these international transfers.

If Something Goes Wrong

If we ever suffer a data breach affecting your personal information:

  1. We'll investigate and contain it immediately
  2. We'll notify affected users and regulators as required by law
  3. We'll fix what let it happen

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. When we do:

  • The new version is posted here with an updated date at the top
  • Material changes are announced by email or an in-site notice
  • Continuing to use Orelon after changes means you accept the updated policy

Questions?

  • Email: support@orelon.ai
  • In-app: Settings → Support Tickets

For privacy requests (access, deletion, correction), include the email you signed up with and what you need. We'll get back to you within 30 days.

Bottom line: we collect what's needed to run your account and generations, your prompts and media go to the AI provider you pick to make the magic happen, and your history stays yours until you delete it.
