Flame On

In Figure 1, the camera suddenly moves quickly toward the lower right (or zooms in to simulate this camera movement). At the character’s original position there is no motion blur of the figure; instead, the people have turned into a cluster of scattering flames. The image has a strong sense of motion blur, simulating the feeling of high-speed movement or being blown apart by a burst of fire. The camera follows along, the fire fragments fly and rush toward the right side and into the distance. Fiery sparks and embers rise upward, as if they are in the process of re‑condensing into a new character from top to bottom in Figure 2.
