Kindergarten Morning Departure Pose

Ever since Daru started going to kindergarten, they couldn't wake up in time for the bus. We switched to drop-offs. Sometimes they arrived after kindergarten had already started. I leave them with the teacher at the entrance and return to the car. From the parking lot, I can see the low shoe lockers through the large glass window. I flex my right arm, make a fist, and pull it down (the 'do your best' pose twice). My daughter nods and walks into the classroom.
